- The collection on this theme comprises some 50 small-sized terra cotta works (10 to 20 cm high)
- This series was produced during the illness of his father (1989)
- They are more violent works, rendered in an expressionist style
- The dominant theme is of old age, suffering and death. It is a cry of revolt against the decrepidness of the human body
- The collection comprises some 20 terra cotta or bronze works (15 to 25 cm high)
- On the woman theme, an idealization of the body and the face
- Work produced in a more classical way
- Deliberate opposition between the sensuality of the curves and the rough or unfinished treatment of certain parts of the work
- Works produced most often in stoneware with a "ceramic" finish with oxydes and enamels (20 to 30cm high)
